YES, YES, YES it is worth your time to watch this comedy. After a sold out premiere in Ottawa on Saturday June 13th, we were planning to watch the 7 o'clock show but both screens were sold out when we got there at 645. We bought tickets to see the 10 o'clock show on the spot so there wouldn't be any more delays. The movie lived up to my expectations. It was hilarious! Even though I saw all the trailers and I knew many of the funny parts, they cleverly left bits out to make the funny, even funnier! The audience including me bursted out laughing and clapped at the funny parts. Ryan had more of a comical character in Wolverine as well and he's fit for this type of role. I haven't seen much of Ryan, as I'm aware, he's fairly new so I don't have much to go on. He's Canadian so that's cool :D It's been a while since I've seen a movie with Sandra who was of course very funny in her 'chant'. The last one I saw was probably Miss Congeniality and she was funny in the that one too. I only saw #1 but didn't see the sequel. Betty White is just the most adorable senior alive! She steals the scene each time she makes her appearance! I loved the "Easter Egg Hunt". Make sure you stay for the credits because they were amazing too! I would want to get the DVD release when it comes out. Perhaps the only critique I have towards this movie is the simplicity of the story on the romantic side since it was supposed to be a "romantic comedy". I thought Margaret's (Sandra's) confession was on the weaker side. I was expecting a little more from Andrew's (Ryan) ex-girlfriend. Perhaps she does something to try to win him over again and that made Margaret (Sandra) confess her feelings. Despite that criticism, I'm still giving this movie a solid 4.5/5. Of the movies that I've scene this summer, Wolverine, Terminator, and UP, this is the one that I seem to not get enough of! I plan on watching Transformers 2 next Tuesday so we'll see if it can top this movie!
