The GOOD news is that my studio presentation and the exhibition are over for the year, finally. It's too bad that we didn't do anything as a studio group due to conflicting schedules. Construction class was a complete GONG-SHOW, let's just say the class was a waste of time but it's over.
The BAD news is that I'm recovering from all the chaos but I'm still not done yet, I still have one more AutoCAD assignment due the 30th. That isn't too hard, I've hand drafted everything, now I just have to digitalize it. The other not so great news is that my job at CBSA is up in the air right now...due to the budget and funding. When I left the job over Christmas, CBSA was running a deficit so I think that has something to do with it. They still hope to find a way to bring me back as there is plenty of work to do. She's supposed to get back to me within the next week to see if there is a way. I told her to pass my name along to any other opportunities that may come. I hoping I could at least get a job as a BSO (Border Services Officer). Even though that may be shift work and may require traveling, at least it will be something new and could be fun to 'catch the smugglers' lol (yea right). I kind of wish she would have told me earlier in April that things weren't guaranteed because I had two other FSWEP offers but I turned them down because they were jobs similar to the one at CBSA. Just in case things don't work out with CBSA, I'm looking for reception or even teller openings. I don't really want to work retail or construction (some of my classmates are doing that).
