I'm FINALLY Done!

I'M DONE school for the year! I'm not taking that Advanced Computing Course in May, I need a break. I've also cleared out a lot of stuff off my MacBook! Still nothing from CBSA ... oh well I'm still in denial mode :D

Here is a slideshow of the work that I've done this past year

New Breath of Love x2

I just finished New Breath of Love for the second time...well I've rewatched the last 8 episodes a couple times before (namely while I was typing up my construction notes during Reading Week) but this was the second time finishing the series from start to end. I had it playing in the background while I was working on my AutoCAD assignment and I would have my earbuds in and glance over at the dashboard for the interesting scenes or when my eyes needed a break from AutoCAD. I think I said this before, the series really grows on you and perhaps it is only descent the first time because of its abrupt transitions between the four couples, once you know the results after seeing it for the first time, you are really able to enjoy the 'process work'. I could have finished it in 2 days (record time) but I took a break between school and homework to watch Tai Chi and a bit of D.I.E., so I had only two episodes left for this morning...still a record! Okay, well back to the AutoCAD assignment!

Good/Bad News...

The GOOD news is that my studio presentation and the exhibition are over for the year, finally. It's too bad that we didn't do anything as a studio group due to conflicting schedules. Construction class was a complete GONG-SHOW, let's just say the class was a waste of time but it's over.

The BAD news is that I'm recovering from all the chaos but I'm still not done yet, I still have one more AutoCAD assignment due the 30th. That isn't too hard, I've hand drafted everything, now I just have to digitalize it. The other not so great news is that my job at CBSA is up in the air right now...due to the budget and funding. When I left the job over Christmas, CBSA was running a deficit so I think that has something to do with it. They still hope to find a way to bring me back as there is plenty of work to do. She's supposed to get back to me within the next week to see if there is a way. I told her to pass my name along to any other opportunities that may come. I hoping I could at least get a job as a BSO (Border Services Officer). Even though that may be shift work and may require traveling, at least it will be something new and could be fun to 'catch the smugglers' lol (yea right). I kind of wish she would have told me earlier in April that things weren't guaranteed because I had two other FSWEP offers but I turned them down because they were jobs similar to the one at CBSA. Just in case things don't work out with CBSA, I'm looking for reception or even teller openings. I don't really want to work retail or construction (some of my classmates are doing that).

情情塔塔 - Tarot Love

A 10 episode radio broadcast starring Raymond and Linda. Kind of cheesy but different because it was a radio broadcast series so there was room for your own imagination!
